Pop sensation Nova Reyes has asked for 300 white roses, a hand-painted sign reading “no beige” and one live parrot in her dressing room on every date of her UK tour.
The details are laid out in a 14-page rider seen by the Daily Splash. It also demands bottled water “at exactly 16 degrees” and a single bowl of green grapes, with every stalk removed.
The parrot, a rescue bird called Mortimer, is described as “a legend with a great sense of timing”. A tour source said: “He is not a prop. He goes on stage during the encore. People think it is a trick, but he honestly likes it.”
A spokeswoman for Nova said the demands were “playful” and that all the roses are donated to a hospice after each show.
